Hundreds of children enjoyed fun and games at our Easter ‘Eggs-travaganza’ event over the school holiday. Watch the video here!
From cupcake decorating to face painting, visitors filled the marquee with excitement as they hunted for eggs on the Easter egg trail and even met the Easter Bunny himself!
Visitors also had the chance to pet a pair of spring lambs courtesy of the John Graham Centre. Richard from the centre said: “It’s been great to bring the lambs to the Easter event to meet the children. It’s been very busy and everybody has loved having them here.”
The event also included a range of competitions with Ariana and Kailen winning the fancy dress competition dressed as a hatching chick and Peter Rabbit. Ariana said: “I loved the Easter Egg trail the best as I found lots of eggs and got a chocolate prize at the end.”
With hundreds of entries it was a tough decision for the judges of the colouring competition but the chosen winners were:
- Theodore, aged 2
- Autumn, aged 4
- Raphael, aged 5
- Elodie, aged 7
- Alicia, aged 9
The closing weekend played host to a special Bunny Brunch for all of the competition winners and their families. With lots of yummy Easter themed treats and activities the brunch was the perfect way to end our Easter ‘Eggs-travaganza’.
