Sunshine, sand and summer fun — the Whitefriars Summer Beach is back!
Right in the heart of Canterbury, our FREE Pop-Up Beach is the perfect family-friendly escape during the school holidays.
Here’s what’s on:
- Build sandcastles and soak up the summer atmosphere
- Follow the Beach Trail — explore the centre, match up our summer beach buddies to the stores and collect a prize!
- Live music in Whitefriars Square every weekend:
– Saturdays: 12–4pm
– Sundays: 12–2pm - Classic Punch and Judy shows on:
13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, 25th (Bank Holiday Monday), 27th & 29th August

No booking needed, just come down and join the fun.

Monday–Saturday: 9am – 5.30pm
Sunday: 10am – 5pm
