The Pride Community Stage comes to Whitefriars for the first time as part of Pride Canterbury 2026, bringing a full afternoon of free live entertainment to the square on Saturday 6 June, from 12pm to 6pm. Usually based in Dane John Gardens, this much-loved part of Pride will this year create a welcoming, family-friendly space in the heart of the city, showcasing some of the best local and up-and-coming LGBTQ+ talent.
Visitors can enjoy performances from local singers, frag artists, dancers, choirs and other talented performers, with the line-up to be announced soon. Alongside the entertainment, there will be local stalls featuring crafts, food and drink, plus a bar serving drinks throughout the day. Just a short walk from the main Pride Canterbury event in the Dane John Gardens, the Community Stage at Whitefriars offers the perfect chance to stop by, discover Pride, and enjoy the fantastic talent and community spirit that make Canterbury’s celebrations so special.
